Workshop on Physics of the Solar Transition Region and Corona

Research on Solar Physics is going through a golden era, with several dedicated international space missions e.g., Hinode, Solar Terrestrial Relations Observatory (STEREO) and Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO) providing simultaneous observations of the solar atmosphere at multi-wavelength. The unambiguous interpretation of these observations requires different theoretical and observational expertise. Therefore, a workshop where people with different expertise could work together towards understanding the different observations is of utmost importance. The aim of this workshop is to have in-depth discussions on various topics of interest related to solar transition region and corona and to find overlapping areas of interests among different groups in the country.
