| dc.description.abstract | In arecentpaper,thefrequencyandsizedistributiondependenceofextinctionspectra for astronomicalsilicateandgraphitegrainswasanalyzedinthecontextofMRNtype interstellardustmodelsinthefarultravioletandultravioletregions.Thesegrains were takentobehomogeneousspheresfollowingapowerlawsizedistribution.Inthe present workweextendtheanalysisfurthertocoverthevisibleaswellastheinfrared part oftheelectromagneticspectrum.Theanalyticformulaspresentedherealongwith thosegivenintheearlierpaperwouldenableonetoevaluateextinctionforthesegrains withinawiderwavelengthrange1000–22,500 ˚A andanalyzetheobservational interstellarextinctiondatainfargreaterdetails | en_US |
